Reader Janice R. and forum member TurkeyLeg wrote in to report that the Tomorrowland Transit Authority has re-opened, following a closure required by refurbishment work on Space Mountain. The attraction closed on April 19, and its original re-opening date was pushed back from late August to September 12.

A new LED lighting system that moves in time with the Tomorrowland background music was installed in August. The trackway has also been freshly re-painted.

Fans hoping to see an interior view of the refurbishment work on Space Mountain should note that construction walls cover that section of the ride.
