Disney's Hollywood Studios' popular annual nighttime lights show has an early November start date. ![]() Walt Disney World revealed that the Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights will be brightening the Streets of America at Disney's Hollywood Studios on November 10, nearly 3 weeks earlier than previous years' lights. The original projected start date was November 30. EMMETT'S COMMENTARY: Given that other Christmas celebrations at Walt Disney World have begun showing up earlier and earlier, it was really just a matter of time before Osborne itself got bumped up. If you've never experienced it, I highly recommend you make a special effort to catch the opening lighting ceremony at dusk on any night. Pictures really cannot capture the beauty of all those lights coming on at once. The "snow" falling on Main Street, along with the lights timed to music, only add to the uniqueness of the experience. ![]() The holiday display ends on January 4, 2010. |
